The U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) filed lawsuits against three employers for failing to protect employees from sexual harassment and retaliating against those who complained.
The cases involved:
Supervisors at a fast food franchises in Kansas allegedly harassed numerous female employees, including teenagers, with inappropriate comments and touching.
A female employee at an Oklahoma paper mill was allegedly terminated after obtaining a protective order against a male coworker who had harassed her.
A company owner in Oklahoma was accused of daily sexual harassment, including inappropriate comments and unwelcome touching of female employees.
